Andersen. \u00a0You might even pay it a visit today \u2013 because everything there is just the same now, as it was then\u2026 \u00a0The owner of this shop was Inge Stokkebye, mother of 3 beautiful daughters and 1 son. \u00a0One sunny autumn afternoon in 1963 she came home and found her youngest daughter Anne Beate sprawled on the couch with a stack of film magasins\u2026\u2026.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-113 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inlinepromotions.com\/danishdesign\/files\/2016\/08\/301-187x300.jpg\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 187px) 100vw, 187px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.inlinepromotions.com\/danishdesign\/files\/2016\/08\/301-187x300.jpg 187w, https:\/\/www.inlinepromotions.com\/danishdesign\/files\/2016\/08\/301.jpg 209w\" alt=\"301\" width=\"187\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">\u201cThis will not do.We must find some occupation for you. I need someone to make some pixies \u2013 this will be just a job for you\u201d.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">\u201cOh, but I can\u00b4t do that \u2013 I never did anything like that before\u201d, Anne Beate answered alarmed.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">\u201cNonsense \u2013 You can do anything, if you give it a try\u201d!<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">And this is how it all started!<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">The first 40-50 pixies were not easy. \u00a0Anne Beate shed many tears and claimed, that she would never learn. \u00a0But she did \u2013 and after a couple of months it was as if the pixies themselves took over. \u00a0They made\u00a0their own decisions\u00a0about how to look and what to carry in their hands.\u00a0 And this is how it has been ever since\u2026\u2026\u2026.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">This is the true\u00a0story of the birth of the\u00a0first Anne Beate Pixies.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">At the top of this page you see a picture of \u201cGirl With Bell\u201d. \u00a0She was the first perfect pixiegirl born in 1963.\u00a0 Today the family count almost 80 members and it is still growing.\u00a0 All pixies are still produced and sold today.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">In 2004 Anne Beate Stokkebye had to step down and sell the company.\u00a0 She was not young anymore and illness had taken its toll. \u00a0The pixies soon settled in with their new pixiemom, Mette Markes Jepsen, in their new surroundings.\u00a0 And today it\u00a0seems as if it has always been this way.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">New pixies are born every year and the whole family is rejoicing.\u00a0 Pixies take leave to go and live with their new people.\u00a0 Modern times is slowly moving into pixielife.\u00a0 Today the family has homemade furniture to sit on.\u00a0 The children have a swing to play on.\u00a0 The older pixies have their own newspaper, Pixienews.<br \/>\nYes, the times they are a-changing\u2026..\u00a0 But still pixies will be pixies\u2026..<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">We hope you will enjoy zapping around getting to know every pixie\u2026.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Der var engang<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/em>(in danish)<\/p>\n<p>Anne Beates mor havde en dejlig lille butik, der hed Klods Hans.<\/p>\n<p>Den l\u00e5 rigtig godt i Odense lige over for H.C. Andersens hus.\u00a0\u00a0Ja, den ligger der forresten endnu\u2026<\/p>\n<p>En november i 1963 kom hun hjem og fandt Anne Beate p\u00e5 sofaen med en bunke ugeblade\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDu keder dig vist, min pige.\u00a0 Du m\u00e5 I gang med at lave nogle nisser\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dMen jeg har aldrig lavet nisser f\u00f8r\u201d, svarede Anne Beate.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dSnik snak!!\u201d, sagde hendes mor bestemt.\u00a0 Og s\u00e5 var den sag afgjort!<\/p>\n<p>De f\u00f8rste nisser var bestemt ikke noget at prale af.\u00a0 Anne Beate gr\u00e6d mange modige t\u00e5rer og p\u00e5stod,\u00a0det fik hun aldrig l\u00e6rt.<br \/>\nMen efter de f\u00f8rste sv\u00e6re fors\u00f8g, ja, s\u00e5 var det, som om nisserne selv hjalp til.<br \/>\nOg det har de faktisk gjort lige siden\u2026 Se, det var n\u00e6sten som en rigtidge eventyr.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Once Upon a Time Once upon a time in Odense there was a small shop called Numb Skull Jack. \u00a0It was situated right opposite the house\u00a0of H.C.
